British eyewear designer Tom Davies unveils his new exclusive Luxury collection.
The Luxury collection is one of Tom’s most innovative collections to date. It blends classic shapes with silver 925, natural horn and 18K gold to create both glamorous and exquisite frames. The special techniques Tom’s master craftsmen use to hand make frames for the Luxury collection allow them to create unique and elegant masterpieces.
Natural horn is hypoallergenic and allows the frames to be 35% lighter than acetate. This makes it the best choice for those seeking a frame that is gentler and kinder to their skin. The silver 925 and gold frames are designed to balance weight across the frame, specifically behind the ears.
“This collection is my personal favourite and one of the best sunglasses and optical frame collections I have designed. Since gold and silver are far heavier the challenge has been making the glasses comfortable. However, we’ve come up with an innovative way of balancing them so the weight is placed on the back of the ears and now the frames feel and look fabulous.’
